9.0b2 Clean install gives black cursor
When installing a clean TC it starts with a black colored cursor.
When unchecking the "use windows theme for cursor" off and on it gives the expected blue cursor again.
Win10 x64 TC x64 and x86

I will check it. What I wanted to achieve is that when the user has enabled "inverse cursor", the new themed cursor should be disabled.

A update gives a black cursor to.
To solve it you have to change some settings in the 'Display - color'. (switch 'use inverted cursor' on and off again and Apply)
Probably this screen sets some new settings in the Config.ini file I guess.
The preview is updated with this action to. Maybe has to do something with that.
Edit: Same with the 'Display - Font' screen. Opening this and click on it and Apply. Then the setting are back.

Confirmed.
It's exactly what Cruysen says.
Like him my 'use inverted cursor' was originally off.
But installing beta 2 it's like if that option was on (I have not checked what the options were showing at this point, unfortunately).
I didn't touch any option and went straight back to beta 1 (using 'Update' mode).
Everything was normal.
From there I went finally to the options, the option 'use inverted cursor' was off. I switched it on and off again.
Reistalled beta 2 again and everything this time was normal.

I found it, it's a bug reading the configuration file when the cursor wasn't configured before. I will fix it in beta 3.
