Crash with new content field picker

Post by *Lefteous »

Had the problem since beta 1 - finally reproduceable.

1. As always make sure everything is nicely saved in TC and no operation is ongoing.
2. Open the new content field picker (in my case in custom column config.
3. tc is selected. Press 'up' to select all.
4. Before all fields have been found press 'down' to select tc again.

You can also use the mouse to do the actions in step 3 or 4.

Additional information:
I'm not sure if it's a plugin related bug or not but I can say there were quite a few installed when the crash occured.
The crash only seems to happen the first time the dialog is opened in an instance.

Tested on Win7 x64, TC 9, beta 2

I cannot reproduce this in TC9b2 - neither in 32 nor 64 bit version.

I have 32 64bit plugins and 38 32bit plugins installed.

But when I click "All plugins" it takes several seconds (even on an Intel i7 PC) before the full list is shown, so a lot of work is going on there.
3. tc is selected. Press 'up' to select all.
Pressing Up only works in 64bit TC - In 32bit TC you have to set focus on the left plugin list first. Also in 32bit version, if you start typing letters the Filter field i used - in 64bit you have to set focus to the Filter field to use it.

I have updated the original bug description as I think I missed an important detail.
