Could you give me more details, please? Like do you wait until the separate tree is fully loaded before entering the plugin?

When exactly does it hang?
1. When you go from local drive to Network Neighborhood, like via Alt+F1 - "\"
or
2. When you are in Network Neighborhood and then try to open a plugin

I have just tried that - it takes perhaps 1-2 seconds then it shows the plugin here.
Could you please test with a fresh wincmd.ini, and only add one plugin you need via menu Configuration - Options - Plugins? There is no need to reinstall a plugin, just pick it with that dialog.

Unfortunately I still cannot reproduce the problem.
Maybe if works better when using empty network neighborhood?
wincmd.ini
[Configuration]
NetHoodStyle=2

Could you please retry with beta 5 or 6? The bug should be fixed. It was caused by the tree view.
