How work the AutoDetect in display at startup of lister?
I wild show

Do it is possibile to associate a extension with a lister mode?
If not now, in the next version?

But there are shortcuts within lister to slect modes:
a= Ansi
s= Ascii
5= html textmode
1= plain text mode
maybe that helps as workaround

External Lister---

Hello !
• This has been already discussed in this Forum... EDIT :
This was YOUR thread :

* Please, have a look in the Search too, to find other suggestions / solutions.
* In brief, you can't associate any file-type with the internal Lister. But you can for an external Lister, called with Alt+ F3.
Kind regards,
Claude

I know, but I would want to emphasize that I prefer to use the internal lister with the F3 key because more immediate and more used. It is possible to add this function in the next versions?This has been already discussed in this Forum... EDIT :
Needs an EXE---

Hi again !
• Like I told you in your first thread, the internal Lister is embedded in the program; to associate file-types with it should neeed to get Lister as a separated EXE.
* That might be possible in theory, but I don't know whether Ch. Ghisler has the will to do that…
• A last idea to facilitate an external Lister using is to set a button in the bar, so you have only a click to do.
- TC is ALSO designed for the mouse using !
Kind regards,

The standard Lister---

• Hurdet meant to use the default actual buit-in Lister to associate file-types with it :
