[TC9.0b4] Crash in synchronize dirs (separate instance /S=S)

Post by *HolgerK »

System W7 x64
1. Start TC9.0b4 (x64 or x86) with a fresh INI
2. Create two identical folder Left:"C:\Test\A" and Right:"C:\Test\B"
3. Create in both folder a file "Test.txt" (size don't matter, here it was zero)
4. Paste the following button into the button bar:

Code: Select all

TOTALCMD#BAR#DATA
%COMMANDER_EXE%
/i="%%COMMANDER_INI%%" /S=S "%X%Z%P" "%T"
wcmicons.dll,48
Synchronize directories (separate instance)
%COMMANDER_PATH%

-1
5. Press the button
6. "[Compare]"
7. "Select for copying (left to right)"
8. "[Synchronize]"
9. "[x] Confirm overwrite" & "[OK]"
10. Inside the Overwrite dialog check "[x] Thumbnails"
-> x64: <Ping> and instant exit of the synchronize dialog
-> x86: <Ping>

Code: Select all

9.0b4 Win10: Crash (division by zero) in Synchronize Dialog

Post by *Max Born »

Hi, just to report the program crashes consistently when trying to synchronize folders (using the separated instance of the sync directory dialog), and it has to override a file in the target. It compares ok, but when trying to sync, if there is something to ovewrite, it crashes. I copied th error dialog below.
It works fine in 8.52a with the same data.
Regards,
Max.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

08.07.16 Fixed: Standalone synchronize dirs: Crash in overwrite dialog if preview was enabled (32/64)
I can confirm the fix with TC9.0b5 (x86 and x64).

Thanks
Holger
