[9.0b5x32] ViewMode Auto-run cmd runs in wrong panel

Post by *Matthias030 »

Beta 5 now have the problem, that the cm_DirBranch command will be activated in the opposite panel. Here's my config, that has worked in Beta 4:

0_name=<Vorgabe>
0_icon=
0_options=1|0|0||-1|-1|-1
1_name=Nach Datum sortieren
1_icon=imageres.dll,175
1_commands=cm_DirBranch
1_options=1|3|1||-1|-1|-1

I have this config activated for folder d:\downloads. I have this folder open in the right panel and close TC. Now start TC again. By default TC starts with the left panel activated. The cm_DirBranch command is now executed for the left panel at startup. The right folder is still d:\downloads and it is sorted by date, but without dirBranch view.

I'm surprised that this worked for you in beta 4 - cm_DirBranch is always applied to the current panel, and that's the left panel when TC starts. So if you have defined cm_DirBranch in the right panel at startup, it will not be applied to the right panel because it doesn't have focus. I will try to find a solution, but it could be difficult.

I have already wondered why DirBranch command was working well in previous versions :-)

However it would be great to have such an option in viewmodes. Maybe you can integrate Branch View into option "Columns view" in View Mode configuration. Maybe also other view modes (tree view, quick view) are wished by someone else...
