Delete hotkey not possible

Post by *robbykrlos »

Deleting one hotkey (re-mapped previously) is not possible. The delete (X) button is disabled.

It works in the 32bit version of TC9, but has never worked in the 64 bit version (I have just tested b1-b7).

In the 64bit version it works right after remapping a key is done, but if you close the config dialog and open it again and select the remapped key from the list - it doesn't work.

It works even in the x64 version of TC 9.0b7 :D
I already did it several times. Here is how it works:
You have to use the search symbol on the left of the x in the command line.
Then you can select "Default command (no remapping)" from the command list.

We are talking about a new feature in TC9 - What you describe is the old way of removing a shortcut, wich was somewhat annoying and tedious.

If you try 32bit TC9 you will see, that if you pick a previously remapped key, by clicking the button with the down arrow to the righ of "Hotkey:", then the x on the button to the right of the magnifying glass becomes read and you can use the x button to delete the command...

Also if you hover the cursor over the x button (even when not active), there is a tool-tip saying: "Delete" to indicate the use of the button when it has an x on it. When you have just made a new key remapping, the x changes to a green checkmark (as previously), and the tool-tip says: "Save".

I know this, but as I said you can still remove the hotkey using the old way.
