In TC9.B10 after entering a new network location in panel address bar, to change current folder, TC stops working.
This network location requires new credenciales, because is located in a different domain.
This error also occurs in TC 8.52a and has begun after installing Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
Before this update, this feature was working fine.

Hm. Does this not suggest you should file a Windows 10 Anniversary Edition bug report in Redmond, rather than filing a Total Commander bug report here?varanzana wrote:This error [...] has begun after installing Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Before this update, this feature was working fine.

Unfortunately I could not reproduce this bug so far with Windows 10 Aniversary update. I get a popup to enter the credentials.
How far do you get? When does it freeze? Do you ge the dialog asking for the password? The dialog does look completely different from the previous version of Windows 10, though.

Unfortunately I still cannot reproduce the error after many tests. Could you please get the free tool "whatishang" and post the report for the hanging Total Commander here?
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/what_is_hang.html
Important: Use 32-bit whatishang for 32-bit Total Commander or 64-bit whatishang for 64-bit Total Commander (not depending on Windows version!).
This would help me a lot!

Please try again with beta 13, I have changed some code. Please send me again a what_is_hang report if it still hangs.
