USB sticks are not shown

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

USB sticks are not shown

Post by *vdijken »

When you list your devices with "This PC" external USB drives are shown, but sticks not. When you pop-down the devices, for disks the used/total size is displayed, but for USB sticks the volume name. When you go with your mouse over the disks, for disks the volume name is shown, and for all USB ports "exchangeable disk" is shown despite it is occupied or not.

Not confirmed. Maybe you have hidden them via allowed= line in wincmd.ini?

USB harddisks are reported as fixed disks by Windows, USB sticks as removable. TC currently doesn't show the sizes for removable drives, because some card readers reacted allergic to that (with no card in the drive) and were causing TC to hang.
