Touch screen: don't open local menu of button bar submenu

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Touch screen: don't open local menu of button bar submenu

Post by *Lsched »

Hi!
I use Total commander on the tablet computer ASUS T100 with touch screen. When I open button bar submenu and long press any button (right mouse click equivalent), local menu don't appear, but runs the button's command. With hardware or virtual mouse TC work correctly.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

I can confirm that on my HP Pavillion 13 X2 laptop with touch screen.

Workaround: After the long press (I see a square) move your finger a little to the left or right and release.

Unfortunately this cannot be fixed. I have subclassed the menu and I'm only getting a notification once the screen is no longer touched, except when you move the finger while pressed. The notification is the same for short and long press, because menus normally don't support right clicks.
