Yes, I know that 7-zip is good but it still has some technical details. What I was talking about is that I would like to see an industry standard test for compression and that tests are perfomed with recently enough versions. Some sites tried to do that, but they haven't been updated in one or two years.
And about Durilca and other similar programs, yes, I know that too. They are useless in many cases, that's why I said they were experimental and not to be used in anything serious.
And personally when I need to archive something serious, I use WinRAR like many other people. 7-Zip is just too slow.
