About search using Everything

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

About search using Everything

Post by *Adams »

I'm learning to use Everything, and did the following

Copy the same group of files to both
C:\temp\test_ev_dir1
and
C:\temp\test_ev_dir2

The file names are
f15_p1.mat
f15_p2.csv
f15_p3.csv
f15_p4.mat
f15_p5.mat
f15_p6.csv

In Everything search with the following
mat p5 ev_dir2\
or
mat p5 ev_dir*\
The corresponding files can be found.

In TC9RC2, using
ev:mat p5 ev_dir2\
or
ev:mat p5 ev_dir*\
no file can be found.

Versuchs doch mal mit
ev:ext:mat p5 ev_dir2\*

Das ex:mat steht für die gesuchte extension mat oder csv.
Damit gehen deine Beispiele.
