The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

For testing I printed a large dir tree with all sub-dir levels and also some document contents. No crash at all.
What type of printer driver you are using ?
It looks like you have selected an not correctly installed printer.
Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4061)
TC 11.55 RC2 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1391a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.2.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88
QAP 11.6.4.4 x64

As the message says, something is wrong with your printer settings "Printer selected is not valid". I will try to catch it and show it in a more user-friendly message.

What's the name shown in Control Panel - Devices and Printers?
It's possible that TC 32-bit cannot access the printer because it's name is too long, or contains special Unicode characters.

There is something wrong with your choice of fonts Your last image shows <error> where there should be the name of a font..

I meant that there is something wrong with your global choice for fonts is TC, and that that reflects in your attempt to print something. When I do the same <Ariel> appears instead of your <Error>. I just try to give you a direction where to find the error!

It means that TC could not get handle to this printer, so it couldn't determine the supported fonts.
1. Please try to set a different printer as the default (need to restart TC afterwards), for example "Fax".
2. If 1 works, try to switch the default printer back to the Canon.
