@petermad why not upload to github or gitlab account so people can fork and contribute perhaps a bit more easily? (And you can publish releases for easy downloads)

Updated version 9.0 of the menus now including versions for Windows 10 is now available for download (links in first post):

New:

Updated with new internal TC 9.0 commands.
The Windows 10 version has menus for launching alle the standard Metro apps.
The addons pack now has iconlibs with an extended icon set for the menus.
Several other additions.

To petermad:
Maybe I missed it but, Is there a way to uninstall the Extended English Menus after I installed it, and return to the regular origin menu?

When you don't want to use the Extended Menus you just go to "Preferences" -> "Configuration..." -> "Language" and choose your ordinary language, then everything will be back as it was.

If you want to get rid of the installed files, you have to delete them yourself - just as you have to do with all other TC plugins. You can open the Installer package you downloaded by pressing Ctrl+PgDn on it - then you can see which files that were installed.

I have made a silent update of these installer files:

tc900_winxp_eng.zip

There was some .br2 files in the packages which shouldn't be there.

Also - I have change the COMBINED installers (*x86_amd64*.zip) so that when installing the Extra Addons ("Help" -> "Install Addons for Total Commander") the iconlibs for both the 32bit and 64bit version of TC are installed at the same time - before you had to run the installer from both 32bit TC and from 64bit to have both iconlibs installed.

Further more - when installing the Extra Addons for the English version, the two files SFXHEAD.SFX and TcUsbRun.exe would be overwritten with Danish versions - if that has happened to you, you will have to restore these two files from TC's installation package (tcmd900x32_64.exe)

The original installers should otherwise work fine though, exept that some buttonbars would have to be forced to reload ("Commands" -> "Reload Icons in Button Bars and Main Menu").

The file wcmicon_win7%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%.dll was missing in the Extra Addons installers:

Although your menu has "Help > About this Menu..." item, the linked Text file has no link to Totalcmd.net download page.

Me think you should add more information how to look for updates into such Text files.

Something like

Extended English Menus for Total Commander xxxx (by petermad)
A alternative menu file which provides all the available TC commands, and some more too.

Just am idea.

It might be a good idea to provide a link for downloads, but then I think I would rather make it as a direct link from an item in the Help part of the menu itself, in stead of burrying it in a readme file.

And I think I would rather link to http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=33740 - that page is easier to find the right version for your OS than it is from the http://www.totalcmd.net/authors/1223914.html page
