Win2K12R2. I rightclick on a program i made, placed in D: (placed, not installed) and i try to find "Pin to Start" in the menu. Nowhere to be found though...
1. I had run TC as administrator. Running it normally changes nothing (PTS still missing from the context menu).
2. I used TCx64.
3. Pin To Taskbar is shown in all cases (Admin and NoAdmin).
4. PTS is shown normally in Windows Explorer.
5. Initial tests done in TC 8.52a. Then, upgraded to 9.0a but the issue still exists.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

1. I'm not talking about Win10 but Win2K12R2.
2. I'm not saying Pin to Start does not work but that it is not shown in the menu.
So, i guess i'm talking about a different issue than the one in that post...

Win2K12R2 is exactly like Win 8.1 in this term.
Fullscreen start menu in 8/8.1/2012R2 really sucks.
In my point of view it is now much better to wipe out some junk in the menu.
I am using third-party 'Classic Start Menu' (so called Classic Shell) for my Win2K12R2 and there is pinning for folders in the menu, not files.
I do not remember if there was file pinning option in TC 8.x menu for Classic Shell. Probably was.
