Which plugin(s) exactly? In which way does it work wrong, what do you expect and what happens instead?thomasmolover wrote:[...] the plugins work wrong [...]

it is a wfx plugins
and my system is win10 rs1 15014 (fastring)
the plugins work fine in 15002 and older one
Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
OK, I guessed that it's my plugin but wasn't sure. Still, this only answers one of my questions. Which action exactly do you execute, and what exactly happens?thomasmolover wrote:Startups

PS: I wouldn't be surprised if this was another bug in Win10.

Well, that's unfortunate.thomasmolover wrote:But other plugins setup or option windows work fine. like these, except your 2 plugins
Startups is one of my plugins, Services2 is the other one - just as you can see in my signature and the plugin readme's (the settings dialog doesn't work as I see it, so it's no use to look thereWhat? U R the author?

I would if I couldU R My DaShen!!! heiheiehei (Spell in Chinese plz)

Mmh, looks like the settings dialog. All components are in the upper left corner, overlaying each other. Might have something to do with the fonts (or their substitutes) on your system or the Delphi VCL I'm using. Probably something I could not debug easily...Services2

Question though: do these labels contain the correct characters? Does it make sense to you what is shown there? Or is it just gibberish? Does it work correctly when you change the plugin's language to English? You can do this by editing the INI file - Services2.ini or fsplugin.ini, depending on where you chose to store its settings.
One of them is C++ based, the other one is Delphi based, but without VCL.
Please try another Delphi based plugin SystemEventsEx and call the settings dialog and the properties dialog of some file there. I just want to see if there's a general issue with VCL on your system or if it's my selection of fonts (MS Shell Dlg 2).

Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
OK, so the language doesn't change anything. What I don't understand is why this window/dialog is so small. Normally this window should be over 600 pixels wide. This issue can't be limited to or caused by fonts.thomasmolover wrote:Startups in English

OK, so it works as it should in other Delphi VCL based plugins, but not in mine. Great

2Moderators: Please move this topic to plugin development subforum. Thank you!

Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
I would like to do the test, but I could not fine the older versionDalai wrote: OK, so it works as it should in other Delphi VCL based plugins, but not in mine. Great. Can you try an older version of my plugins? Specifically one that does not have the option to set the placement of dialogs on specific monitors which has been introduced in the latest public versions. Versions without this feature are Services2 0.6.x and Startups 0.3.x.
Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
You can download Services2 0.6.1 here and Startups 0.3.0 here; for different versions you can change the number in the link.thomasmolover wrote:I would like to do the test, but I could not fine the older version

Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
and I get a idea for the wfx_Startups, The plugins now can copy startup info from the plugins window to a file. could it copy or drag a file to the plugins win and convert to a startup option?Dalai wrote:You can download Services2 0.6.1 here and Startups 0.3.0 here; for different versions you can change the number in the link.thomasmolover wrote:I would like to do the test, but I could not fine the older version

Re: [TC 9.0a] autoruns plugins could NOT work
OK, so the bug (if it is one) is somewhere in the new code. Kind of weird though since I'm not doing anything fancy - just moving the dialog window to the monitor TC is on, or (if the user enabled it) moving it to a specific monitor. Well, I'll take a look at it when I have time.
PS: As I wrote in the readme of Services2: I don't plan to implement a feature to add new services. This might change if there's nothing to do anymore, but currently there are more bugs waiting to be fixed and some other features to be implemented (admin tool will be a lot of work).
