I believe "Save Tab Colors" in the TWinKey Utilisator works to Save Tab Colors when you close TC and then you reopen TC. The moving Tabs within the same (right or left) panel or saving/re-opening tabs is a TC function and TWinkeys does not support it - maybe the developer will include it in a future version...Heini wrote:Tab color is also lost, if I load tabs from file.
Detailed description for reproduction:
1. Do the coloring
2. Right click on tabs \ "Save tabs on both sides to file"
3. Right click on tabs \ "Load tabs from file, replace tabs"
[Of course I set "Save Tab Colors" in the TWinKey Utilisator" before.]
I have also noticed that bookmarked subdirs most of the times (not always: when you rename to an already bookmarked name, it does not disappear!) lose their bookmark-color when I rename them -
Example:
subdir "Test"
bookmark it: Bookmark color appears
Rename to "Test-": Bookmark color disappears
Rename to "Test": Bookmark color appears again.
Because TWinKey maintains a list of the bookmarked files (one of which is "Test")

This might be regarded a bug, I believe.
Hi all,
How do File Groups work? I have checked Show First, added *.exe and clicked Apply, nothing changed in the panels, not even after a TC restart. Is there something else I must do? Brief view / Full view make no difference, neither does any specific directory, nor any sort order (Name, Ext, Date).
EDIT: TWinKey is running since the Alt-F1 list is replaced correctly. Win 10 x64, TC 9.0a x64.
EDIT 2: Also, I seem to remember I could define the color style of a tab color I assigned with Ctrl-right click, currently it is a gradient, how can I change that to eg. solid?
TIA
Roman

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

You can:
1. Download the latest version of TWinKey (3.122).
2. Try to enable Bookmarks or Sticky files. You don't need to use them, just enable.
3. If it doesn't helps send me TWinKey.ini file

Sorry. Color styles could be defined for file panel only. Tabs color marks are always gradient.I seem to remember I could define the color style
For me Twinkey version 3.119 works fine with file groups.Hacker wrote:Hi all,

I have for example *.7z set as show first and now all *.7z are shown first regardless of sort order.
I did nothing special in addition to filling the extension into the field.
File grouping also is dependend of View modes in Twinkey.
Every View mode has its own setting so check the Default view mode.
AFAIK you can't have other than gradient fill color of tabs header.

I had switched of Twinkey because the way TC marked the active tab
was lost while Twinkey was running.
But the new Stick configuration gives some error while trying to set an hotkey.
The result after an assignment is "Encountered an improper argument"
But after several times hitting ok it works.

Yes, I was already using it, sorry I didn't mention.1. Download the latest version of TWinKey (3.122)
Enabling either of them gives this error message (and does not help with the file groups):2. Try to enable Bookmarks or Sticky files. You don't need to use them, just enable.

This very odd. I don't see any problem with your TWinKey.ini. It works perfectly here.
- Try to delete it and start without TWinKey.ini
- Set file group on "File Panels" page to *.exe
It should work immediately. And TWinKey.ini should look like

There is absolutely no relation between new config dialog and settings of hotkeys. New config dialog in TWinKey plugin but settings in external Utilisator program. Where you see this error - on hotkey assignment or on hotkey usage? And if it happens again - please send me TWinKey.ini.But the new Stick configuration gives some error while trying to set an hotkey.
