I think I will keep it this way - TC does some auto-detection of the format in the html extractor which switches to UTF-8 when detected. This happens every time the file is parsed again (also after re-loading).

What about htm files that has been created after simple merging of different documents? Such files may have text with different encodings.ghisler(Author) wrote:TC does some auto-detection of the format in the html extractor which switches to UTF-8 when detected. Who in typical office will care about standarts? Its usually Ctrl+C->Ctrl+V from multiple sources, and the document is done...ghisler(Author) wrote:To my knowledge, the HTML standard only supports one encoding per document.
