With option to show drive icons from Explorer, Total Commander started from SYSTEM account (using Sysinternals psexec.exe) doesn't show custom icons for drives in all places where drive icons are used, even if they are defined in autorun.inf (used e.g. for USB drives).
Also if another copy of Total Commander, started from user account, running the same time, context menu of the drive (called from drive icon in drive bar) used in one or another copy of these TC instacnes, especcially if called for first time, may quiclky disappear after it shows, and then active TC window may lose its focus so Windows activates another window.

What should this reports tell us ?
The System account is not meant to be used by normal user programs.
It doesn't even need any icons for its background operation.
Spending time to analyse such problems is waste of time.

Why do you start a (desktop) application with System account credentials?
Stop doing that!
The System account is not meant to run desktop/user applications (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/120929/how-the-system-account-is-used-in-windows)

But it may be the only way to start the program and save the valuable data and to do some other important file managmant related actions when Windows for example is under a virus attack.Horst.Epp wrote:... The System account is not meant to be used by normal user programs.
It may be a waste or maybe not. If the issues with drive icons and context menu will be confirmed and fixed for SYSTEM account, it may make these features to work more reliable in multi-user environment. Anyway the TC author will decide what to do with it.Horst.Epp wrote:What should this reports tell us? ... Spending time to analyse such problems is waste of time.
