As you probably know, there is an old cdfs.vxd replacement that allows to see audio tracks as wav tracks. http://www.sonicspot.com/alternatecdfsvxd/alternatecdfsvxd.html
This way we can copy wav tracks that we now "see" on our audio CD to our Hdisk (with any file browser and with TC too).

Wish 1 : a TC FS plugin to do the same thing directly with TC (without cdfs.vxd replacement and under XP too)

Wish 2 : A TC FS plugin to see tracks as mp3 files. This way we could obtain our mp3 files from our audio CD simply coping them with TC
("internally" handling extraction and encoding).

Excuse me for my english

@totfun

What is the problem with cdfs.vxd? I copy like that,
its very usefull,(maybe it would be nice to see only the 44khz 16bit-files instead of all qualities)

wish 2 : you could just create a button encoding those files with lame?
So there is no plugin necessary imho

My wish for a Plugin is still a Newsreader.

Post by *vlado »

Hi,

does exist some plugin enabling direct copying to CD (burn CD) using standard F5-Copy command?

Thanks,

Unfortunately not. Many people would like to have it. It would be nice to have plugin which would create image of the cd at least (iso, nrg).

It's a solution but I would be glad if I could prepare/modify image files (for later or multi recording) just from TC.

The ability to switch between different archive plugins when inside archives,
like lister plugins,(by pressing ctrl+pgdn again maybe),
for example switching between IEtotal and resextract,
or trying the next compatible plugin in row when the previous one doesn't work.
I know this should probably be in the wishlist but it seemed like a better place to bring it up

Don't think so...

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I think an SNMP MIB Browser can be a very useful plugin (for me).
SNMP MIBs are hierarchical, just like file systems, and are network reachable - a classic FS plugin.
Sorry, but what is that?
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Look on MIB for a detailed definition.

Sorry I couldn't resist :)

:) Hello !

• Fine !

* Acronyms are often confusing, it's the reason for which I don't like them.

 Kind regards,

SNMP = Standardized network management protocol.

MIB = "Management Information Base", a database containing objects which can be observed by a network management system. SNMP uses a standardized MIB format, which makes it possible for a SNMP agent to observe every device defined in the MIB.
