[9.0a] Unstoppable space calculation before deletion
When I press Shift+Del on some folder, TC enumerates inner files/folders for second progress bar before displaying delete confirmation, and Escape allows breaking this process. But Escape or Cancel button in progress dialog don't work in latest TC version, so I had to kill TC when I've tried to delete a dir with 730k files because it was impossible to stop calculation.
Bug detected in TC 9.0a x32/64, tested with clean INI too; older versions since TC 9.0b15 have this bug too, however TC 9.0b12 doesn't have it.

Not confirmed, ESC works fine here. Tested with both TC 32-bit and 64-bit.

Sorry, I probably still don't understand your report. You still say that "while TC calculates files, delete process can't be cancelled", but I have no problems to do exactly that.
Can you give me more detailed instructions, please?

Hmm, ESC works immediately here. I need to press "Cancel" twice, though, to cancel the operation.

I had the same problem.
A directory with lots of subdirs and files on a network drive.
I press shift+del. Tcmd asks whether I want to delete that directory. I press yes. Tcmd shows a dialog with "seeking" and starts counting those files.
When i press "Cancel" tcmd doesn't stop.
When i press "pause" tcmd pauses the counting but when I press then on "Cancel", tcmd starts again seeking files ? After having pressed "cancel" the number of found files increases and decreases ?

The issue will be fixed in the next version of TC, according to this post: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=329587#329587

Can you please check whether this has been fixed in TC 9.10 beta?
