Lets suppose, I have one dir with bunch of sub dirs inside, and I want to unpack all rar and zip files inside sub dirs, in one operation!!!, like selecting all dirs and give instruction "extract here" archive files, or search all files with ctrl B, sellect all rar, zips or other archives type file and give them instruction "extract here", if I do that with ctrl+B it will extract all files in first directory, (I want to detain dir path with "extract here", like each file has to unpack himself in his own dir),
or is there some automatic unpacker with ability to search all subdirs for archive file types, and when it find it all(archives), it can unpack all of them in their own dirs.
Or is it posiblee for someone to create such plugin, or can some one modify "tree copy" or can it be converted to unpacker type of plugin because it will be great to combine unpucking with CTRL+B but adding function like keep path name and delete archive file after you unpack file, but dont delete file if archive file is broken or it had some missed volume file.
Extract all files in their own dirs with some automatic....

Hi !
• No feature like this in TC yet...
* You can't unpack files from a single archive into sub-dirs already existing.
* You can only create multiple *.ZIP /*.gz archives, one per file, then unpack each file in a separated subdir (same name than the file). These sub-dirs are made automatically, so no need to create empty dirs before.
• If you want to use existing sub-dirs, you can open the archive containing multiple files by Enter or Ctrl+PageDown, then copy each file in the sub-dir you chose. Then, delete the archive if you don't wish to keep it…

I meant , how can I short my working time to minimum with one util like select one dir and unpack all archive type files in subdirs in their own dirs in one operation.
Maybe there is some kind of utility on the market with the feature like I need, I know how to do that on Linux, but I must do that on Windows 2000 Advance Server, or I cant try to set up some virtual operating system based on Linux in Windows 2000, just because of this and some other functions I requested before.
I saw 1000+ plugins for total commander, but 95% of them are unneed by 100% of users, I would like to see more plugins with special functions that are really needed by 100% of users using Total Commander.
Is there some list with all plugins, but not just list with plugin names, but, list containing description of each plugin, normally all that on one place, on one list.
Just to mentioned, I have one util made by my friend, that is able to unpack all files arrived to ftp server in their own dirs automatically, but its only for ftp and that bloke is now director in some software company, he don't want to write any more utils, he has money now.

Hi again !
* The feature you wish maybe exists in some external packers using switches ? I just checked the WinRar ones, but saw nothing like this…
* You could browse the Club Total Web site ?
* You could launch also a plugin request in the Plugin development + support forum.
* From the utility you have already - and with the permission of your (happy) friend - maybe a programmer'ld accept to work on that issue?
* Unfortunately, the programmers are often snowed under work when the ideas aren't theirs... ( If the cap fits, wear it !)
{ Apart : so, I've two projects pending for months, and nobody to write them… }
- Good luck !
Kind regards,
Claude

How can this possibly be a complaint? Many many plugins is what is what makes TC so great and so much more useful than its competitors!a large part of existing plugins are needless
I don't use them all either, but someone needs them. Check the download stats on totalcmd.net.
