"Not Enough Memory"

So. I was suggested by a friend to edit the hosts file to be able to use the Freedom apk. However, I ended up with a "not enough memory" problem. Is this a bug, or just a problem with the version? My phone is running on Android 4.2.2 and is rooted. But the version on TC is 2.80, do I update to fix the problem or will it continue?

You mean with the internal Total Commander editor? The maximum file size is currently limited to 1.5MBytes, because larger files tend to load extremely slowly.
