Multilister was a pdf viewer that used IE activex controls
https://totalcmd.net/plugring/filter.html
if you need a pdf viewer try slister with the latest SumatraPDF.exe from
https://totalcmd.net/plugring/slister.html
http://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/prerelease.html
if you need a text viewer try cudalister
https://totalcmd.net/plugring/CudaLister.html

most of the formats that wore supported by Multilister can be viewed by 3rd party plugins html can be viewed with slister or with the HTMLView

I have already seen it.
I do not like the need for an instance for each rule.
It would be perfect if you only used one instance with many ini file options.

Did you update it to the actual SumatraPDF (3.2.10766)
or install SumatraPDF and point SLister to it by its ini file.
I use Slister on daily work to view PDF and EPUB files
and never had such problems
