Moving files from SD card to Internal storage

I'm using TC 2.90 for Android on an H96Pro+ TV box with Android 7.1.1 installed
When moving video files from the SD card to Internal Storage and vice versa, the moved files still remain in the original location. I then have to delete these manually
Although the dialog that displays during the moving process indicates the files are being moved from here to there and shows the moving progress bar, what is actually happening is a simple copy and paste activity
Is this a known bug or is there some setting I need to make in order for the moved files to be deleted from the original location
I am a fairly new user so could well have overlooked something

This should work. How do you access the SD card? Via directory name, e.g. /storage/1234-5678, or via virtual folder, e.g. ///_SDCard? The path is shown in the home folder, in the bottom right of the directory item.
