Thanks for your report. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it. I tried with Windows 10 April (Spring Creators) update and Autumn Creators update.
Can you give me more information, please?
1. Does it happen also in Total Commander 9.12 (last release version)
2. Does it also happen when resizing the window quickly?
Anyone else getting this problem?
Can you give me more information, please?

TC window not maximized
Tested with:
TC 8.52a - 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1803 (OS build 17134.1)
TC 9.0a - 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1803 (OS build 17134.1)
TC 9.10 - 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1803 (OS build 17134.1)
TC 9.12 - 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1803 (OS build 17134.1)
TC 9.20b1 - 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1803 (OS build 17134.1)
For me, both icons of the Buttons disappear in both panels when I make the window smaller by
a) dragging the top window frame [slightly] down OR
b) pulling the lower window frame [slightly] upwards
Partially (in some tests) only the Icons of the buttons in the right window are hidden.
The Icons of the buttons become visible again when you move the mouse over them.
If you drag on the left or right frame, hidden icons are also displayed again.
There is no effect if I drag left or right on the window frame when the icons of the buttons are displayed,
i.e. the symbols remain displayed.
The TC window is not maximized.
-----
This effect does not exist in the 32 bit versions.
-----
If that should be of interest:
- Digital Display: 1920 x 1200 Pixel (native resolution)
- Windows 10 Pro: Advanced Scaling Settings - custom scale size: 125%
- TC Configuration - Options - Font - Set dots per inch (DPI) to: 130
-----
EDIT:
I could not reproduce the problem with a clean ini file under TC 9.20b1 - 64 bit.
Regards
Karl

I finally got the 1803 version of Windows 10 yesterday (small language late update). I can not reproduce the problem with version 1803, and I couldn't with the 1709 version either. I tried with my working wincmd.ini and with a clean ini file with TC 9.20b1 and TC 9.12 x64

Hmm, very misterious - it doesn't disappear here, neither with my own settings nor with default settings.

Maybe you can find out which option causes it? Or send me your wincmd.ini with which it happens?

This _should_ be fixed in TC 9.20 beta 2, please test it! I fixed a similar bug where resizing caused it, so it may fix this problem too.

(The described problem still exists only in the versions before TC 9.20 beta2 - (at least with my wincmd.ini)).
