Thanks! I am a old user of your extended menu. I update to the latest x64 win10 version. It is OK. But only Right menu is too wide (more than screen). What is the problem from me to take place?

That is probably because you have a very long Custom file mask. Focus the right file panel and press Ctrl+F12 and change the mask to for example *.*. Then you might also have to restart TC.

It has nothing to do with my menu - it happens with the original English menu too.

I've added my personal GitHub clone of this cool Extended Menu. I've done it for my personal benefit so I can easier merge changes in new versions with my own modifications.

It would be cool with if the plugin was maintained released on GitHub, but I also love it as it is.

I've added powershell to the Commands menu to get quick keyboard shortcut access like for cmd, and I've added my personal version of powershell administrator prompt.

It would be cool with if the plugin was maintained released on GitHub, but I also love it as it is.

I have no experience with github at all. I signed up for an account just now, but it looks too worksome to use fro my purpose.

There are 23 versions of the menus, each with two menus in it. Currently that leaves around 1086 files to maintain and synchronize, when I make changes to the menus. Keeping track of changes on github as well, is just too much.

Let me know if this somehow violates the license terms, then I'll remove it from the public sphere.

As long as you refer to the original files, as you do now, it is perfectly alright

You can run PowerShell as administrator by just adding an asterix in front of the command line. So unless you need to run as administrator in a special way you can just use this command:

There isn't a default variable for the OS version in Windows. But if it is on computers you use regularily (as you multiboot system) you can add an environment variable to the system yourself:

Call the variable for %WIN_VER%
Set the value to either: win7, win81 or win10 while under the respective OS.

Download this:

Copy these two files form the zip-file to your TC Language folder:
wcmd_%WIN_VER%%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_1_eng.lng
wcmd_%WIN_VER%%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_2_eng.lng

Now select either of these two in TC's language setup:
English with Extended Menu I for TC 9.12 32/64bit under ANY 64bit Windows
English with Extended Menu II for TC 9.12 32/64bit under ANY 64bit Windows

You can use C:\Windows\System32\SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe to set the global system variable

If you use this solution you can delete:
wcmd_win7%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_1_eng.lng
wcmd_win7%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_2_eng.lng
wcmd_win10%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_1_eng.lng
wcmd_win10%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_2_eng.lng
to make TC's language selection dialog less cluttered.

All you have to do is (when in Total Commander) to double-click the downloaded zip file (tc920_win10x86_eng.zip - 1164141 bytes))

If that is what you are already trying, then please tell what happens when you try...

My bad! I thought that since I was upgrading TC there would be no need to go to the Language menu and select the settings that I wanted. It works just fine once I do that...
