Hello,
I am using 2 monitors in Windows 10.
Primary monitor is on the right side and on the left side is secondary monitor. When I have got open Search windows (Search windows is open in separate process) and then I turn off my second monitor, and the Search window will be "not visible".
I will turn on my second monitor and Search window is still not visible.
When I want Search windows get from minimized status to active status, it seems that Search window is set size to 1px and it is placed between my monitors and it is not visible on my primary monior neider on my secondary monitor.

Re: 2 monitors and Search window in separate process
Thanks for your report.
TC should automatically move the search window to the other monitor when the saved position is on a monitor which is turned off (depends on monitor connection type). It sounds like the monitor isn't really removed, but stays there with a size of 0x0 or 1x1 pixels, which makes TC resize its search to that size.
To reproduce your problem, I need more information:
1. Version of Total Commander (e.g. 9.21a)
2. 32-bit or 64-bit?
3. Windows 10 version (see menu Commands - System information - Software)
4. Screen resolution of the two monitors (e.g. primary: 1920x1080, secondary: 4k).
5. Scaling factor of the two monitors (e.g. primary: 100%, secondary: 200%)
6. Connection method (e.g. primary: displayport, secondary: hdmi)
7. When you turn off the secondary monitor, does it still show up in display settings?

Re: 2 monitors and Search window in separate process
I made few tests and I wrote it bad before. There is no need to turn off monitor. Problem is just in minimalize and restore from minimalized state when secondary monitor is on left side.
To reproduce problem:
- Secondary monitor have to be on left side (when it will be on right side, Search window will be OK)
- Open Search window in separate process (maximize window) on primary monitor.
- Minimize Search window
- When I try restore minimized Search window it will be restored to width 1px between secondary and primary monitor.
1. Total Commnader 9.21a
2. 64bit
3. Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, version 1803, build 17134.345
4. primary: 2560x1440 , secondary: 1920x1080
5. scalling: 100% (both monitors)
6. PC -> primary: HDMI -> HDMI
PC -> secondary: DVI-D -> HDMI
EDIT: when you open Search window in separate process, window have to be maximized
