Configuration dialog for WDX plugin interface
I have just learned that some content plugins have a configuration. Would it be possible to add an optional configuration dialog feature to the WDX plugin interface (similar as the WCX plugin interface already has)? Thanks for consideration.

TC plugins: Autodesk 3ds Max / Inventor / Revit Preview, FileInDir, ImageMetaData (JPG Comment/EXIF/IPTC/XMP), MATLAB MAT-file Viewer, Mover, SetFolderDate, Solid Edge Preview, Zip2Zero and more

Hmm, where would you put it? The other plugin types have logical locations to put these, but content plugins can be used in many locations.

It would fit naturally as Configuration button at the Content plugins dialog: Image: https://tbeu.de/forum/wdx_config.png

Another content plugin with (external) configuration: PCREsearch

If I had one more wish as TC plugin developer, this would be it. Can you evaluate once again please. Thanks a lot.

Re: Configuration dialog for WDX plugin interface
I would like support this request.
Although the content plugin configuration is definitely the right place to put this configuration button, adding it complimentary to the 'choose plugin property' dialog makes sense to me as the configuration would feel more on the fly as the dialog is opened before adding a content plugin field. This way, the developer could optionally consider the selected field when providing configuration settings.

The following plugins are in great need of configuration: PCREsearch.wdx, FileMask.wdx, Groups.wdx and other.
When you click on the configuration button, you can simply run the INI-file of the corresponding plugin in a text editor linked to TC.
And this button in this window: https://ibb.co/DDwLPM6
