Lister BUG (or Feature Request?)
Hi,
I've configured colors in INTERNAL LISTER, via Configuration Panel.
It works very nice.
But, if I'm using LISTER.EXE (external lister), it ignores color configurations, and it looks "black over white". It's very boring.
Mr. Ghisler: it is a BUG or a feature missing?.

From "lister.txt" on TCMD folder:
Lister.exe /I=lister.ini myfile
Nothing new happens: black over white
Joaquin
I've copied in "lister.ini" the groups "[Lister]" and "[ListerPlugins]" from wincmd.ini, and I've started :Parameters:
...
/I=ini_file name Set different name of INI file, default is wincmd.ini
Lister.exe /I=lister.ini myfile
Nothing new happens: black over white

It is still a different wincmd.ini if TC's ini if not in the c:\windows directory, external lister ignores the ini settings in the registry.
But the colors cannot be set in TC, so it is a bug. It should take over the windows default colors, as the internal lister does.

I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!
Yes, external lister MUST BE the same as internal lister. But colors of internal CAN BE changed in TC panel "Configuration|Options|Color|Others".
It seems like external lister was not reading options in wincmd.ini (at least the COLOR option). But internal lister works fine and show selected colors.
Obviously, they (internal and external) are not equal.

I tried it. External Lister uses the wincmd.ini in %windir%.
But it simply ignores the settings you cannot configure from within Lister - Configuration menu.
