ok now, how do i switch off junctions overlay for folders?
if you need some background (tho it's boring):
1. folder icon isn't there under overlay icon. just looks ugly. dk why and don't want to know, actually (alternative folder icons or smth).
2. overlay icon itself is meh, as for me. i don't like its looks.
3. i have Link Shell Extension with custom, uniform icons. EVEN IF this mandatory TC's overlay icon wouldn't break the display of folder icons i would want it switched off.
4. i don't like when something forced upon me lol =))
(wow, no attachments in current year? o_O)

Re: Icons for Hard Links
From your screenshot It looks like you are using flat_FileIcons.dll as you iconlib.
Try this iconlib in stead: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/FileIconsFlatNoLnkOverlay.icl
with this entry in your wincmd.ini:
It replaces icon no. 53 with a transparent icon.
Try this iconlib in stead: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/FileIconsFlatNoLnkOverlay.icl
with this entry in your wincmd.ini:
Code: Select all
IconLib=%COMMANDER_PATH%\FileIconsFlatNoLnkOverlay.icl

Re: Icons for Hard Links
It seems similar to what I have
At least it changes nothing I noticed.
And.. I don't need replacement with transparent icon. As I understand, you are talking about transparent overlay icon.
It doesn't solve the problem, since In this case it will still be applied (altho invisible) by TC, blocking a way for LinkShellExtensions icon I want to be displayed..

Re: Icons for Hard Links
Aha I see - you use a system-wide icon replacement. - I got fooled by the fact that the icons in yuor screenshot looks exactly like the ones from the flat_FileIcons.dll.blocking a way for LinkShellExtensions
