If using the mass rename on a search result, the result does not update to the new names. You have to perform another search to collect the objects again and e.g. move them. If you MOVE the objects from a search result the list gets updated and you have the new position there; quite convenient.

Why should the search results be influenced in any way by the results of an rename ?
Thats not written in any TC help or docu.
I don't expect this and would not classify it as an bug.

This is more or less intentional. The search result list is not updated because it would require the whole search to be performed again, which can be quite complex and slow. And it wouldn't guarantee that the search results are the same as before (files could have been renamed so that a new search doesn't find them). Removing an object from the search result list (due to this object being moved) is easy in comparison.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
