TC 9.50b1 (dark mode): missing hover effect

In dark mode neither the folder tabs nor the tab stop headers offers an hover effect when hovered by the mouse.
The same is missing at other place like tab headers in find files <ctrl+F7>

Indeed the tab headers do not support a hover effect in dark mode. It didn't look good, so I removed it.

why wouldn't it look good to have a grey hover color? just like in the drive bar? maybe it should be light grey...

Could it be at least optional (on:-)?

I'm not always a fan of blink-blink effects, but the mouse hover effect is imho a helpful feedback to quickly indicate which UI-element will react on mouse down (is it enabled or in read only state?).
BTW the same applies to the combo box drop down buttons.

Thanks for adding it to B2. But now, when hovering in darkmode (default settings), the hovered tabs disappear entirely

TC 32 Bit, Windows 10 1903 32 Bit.

NOT confirmed. Tried on Windows 10 1903 64-bit with TC 32-bit.
Maybe a settings problem?

Tabs are partly not shown again, even not when hovering... And also not after mouse left the tab header and re-entered.

Maybe a 32 bit problem as it doesn't occur on 64 bit?

It happens when the option "Tabs on multiple lines" is enabled, even when there is only one line of tabs. Please disable this option until beta 3. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fix for tab header hover effect confirmed with TC 950B2 x64 on W10 1903.

BTW the same applies to the combo box drop down buttons.

Could you please enable the hover effect also for combo boxes like "<Alt+F1/F2>" or "Options->Display: Sort method"?

I will try, but it's not so easy. Also they behave differently when they are editable comboboxes and just lists.

How hover effect on a tab should look like? Should tab change a color when cursor will cover it? Here on Vista 32-bit with classic theme in TC 9.50 beta 3 with dark mode active I don't see any tab color changes (they're still black) when pointing a cursor over it, however, a tooltip with a full path opened in a tab appears for background tabs (tab headers).
Edit: I also don't see color change of file panel tabstop headers here.
