Hi, I've noticed that not only in the new beta 6 but in the last releases of Total commander 9.x when I click the date heading I'm not getting what I would expect. Also there is inconsistency as the heading says 'date' while the column under the file menu refers to it as 'time'.
For example, if I sort descending order (downwards pointing arrow) I would expect the newer items closer to the top above older entries. For folders I get
9/11/2019;13/11/2019;7/11/2019;13/11/2019;22/11/2019;....
I'd obviously expect 22 November first followed by the two 13 November entries and so on. Is it me? Reverse sort (ascending) order is just as bad.

Re: problem view lister of files/folders in date order
Appreciate your post on this however, I'm using the new beta 6 but similar with the latest release for me. There are 4 possible sorting methods–2 natural–character code & numbers:alpha & numbers, strictly by numerical character code and Alphabetical. I've tried all 4. Still not getting what I expected. For example setting: natural Alphabetical and numbers; column, creation date; arrow pointing downwards:gave me—

Please read my post again. The option I mentioned is farther down in the dialog. It's Sorting directories, not Sort method.
