Well, if you get a virus on one system which infects the EXE in the onedrive folder, it will automatically replicate to all other systems too...

Re: Total commander can't open file in OneDrive folder
same troubles with OneDrive (no for business)
for button bar buttons I'm use workaround: cmd /k start "" "path\to\file.exe"
or press ".", Enter (run explorer) and double click on *.exe file.

Re: Total commander can't open file in OneDrive folder
I have the same issue in Total Commander I have a lot of executables but on doubleclicking none works. In Windows Explorer doubleclick and it opens.
However this is not only with Total Commander. I am also running SysMenu which also did not open the executables from the OneDrive Location.
The strange thing is that this used to work (obviously) always. So I'm thinking more of a Windows Issue.

No problems here on Windows 10 1909 (latest stable) and Total Commander 9.22a 32-bit and 64-bit.
Do you see anything special in the exe file permissions (Alt+Enter - Security)?

I also have this problem. There is nothing strange about the permissions. The weirdest thing is that everything works for days, but then one day .exe files stop launching.

Re: Total commander can't open file in OneDrive folder
Can you try with a different exe, e.g. copy notepad.exe there?

I have the same problem. When I try to open a file from the OneDrive Business folder I get "Access denied" message. It is not an exe file, but e.g. a jpg. It is also interesting that on one of my computers the TC downloads the file from my OneDrive folder in order to open it. On the second computer the files are opened immediately.
On both computers I have Windows 10 64 bit.
