Unfortunately not :-(

You can see it as a hint (tip) when you choose an option:
\ Configuration \ Options \ Display \ Win32-style tipswith file comments (if available). But you can't see it in columns.

Not in columns. TC can show this informations in a tooltip only.

:) Hello !
Does anyone know why?
- Christian Ghisler knows certainly why…
- From my own point of view, I don't see where to add columns to the existing ones, keeping the two panels with all infos they provide currently…

 Kind regards,
Claude

Well, I can see it can be a problem when you show all info.
If you could pick out only the coloumns you wants to show, the problem will be minimal (from my point of view )

No settings---

¤ I understand that you mean; unfortunately, in the settings we have not a bunch of columns in which we could choose the wished ones. You can adjust the tabs of the tab-headers (L/R), or hide / display the headers, no more currently.
  But the idea sounds so good, that could be a wish for the Author's list (if not in already)

 Kind regards,
Claude

Hmmm...Author's list, is it something I have to do to get it on that list ? If so, please tell me.

Best regards

Here is yet another good reason for treating the file panels as spreadsheets and allowing users to "fix" selected columns so that we could scroll left or right across a wide number of columns without losing sight of the filename...

Many people have already suggested adding new (user defined) columns. I also think it would make TC a much better (universal) file commander. It would be good to associate it with MORE USER DEFINED tabs ;-)

User defined columns are planned for a new view mode for the next version of TC. I have already implemented it for thumbnail view (e.g. to show image attributes), and plan to add the new columns view soon.
