EXIF plugin for CR3 Canon raw files?

The EXIF wdx plugin v2.5 worked great for me but now that I have got a new camera I found out it doesn't support CR3 files. I have even tried adding the EXT="CR3" to the ini file, no success though. That's a major bummer as I use it every day for renaming my camera files.

I'm the author of this plugin. Could you send me a small sample file? To create it, please choose the lowest resolution, take a photo with closed lens cover, and then pack the file with ZIP. Please send it to cghisler at gmail dot com.
