Imagine 0.8.4.0 - Image/Animation Lister Plugin for TC
Moderators: Hacker, petermad, Stefan2, white
Recently, I'm busy with many things.
I can't check my homepage and here and my E-mail frequently.
Associate with the extension 'GIF'.
(Frankly speaking, it's not important which extension you specify.)
Now the plugin works with any image files. (Ctrl+PgDn)
(NO depends on their extensions.)
And you can convert image type in pack dialog.
(The target format will be determined by target file extension.)
(ex. If you type 'Test.JPG' the target image will be JPG format.)
(ex. If you type 'Test.GIF' the target image will be GIF format.)
Some bug fixed version is available at:
http://www.nyam.pe.kr/dev/imagine/download/wip/Imagine_0.9.0.0_beta_2_20040816.zip

Turn their heads---

… or rather want to ignore it…Some Totalcmd experts here don't know nyam's forum, I guess, so...

{ Apart : If you would have an email here in your profile (it's secure, no risk of spam etc.), I would express some thoughts a bit beside the topic; the private messages are unavailable here, it's really missing !

nyam,
Hi,
Why is it impossible to assign "e" as a shortcut for EXIF information? (It's posible to assign but pressing "e" doesn't do anything...

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Already assigned---

Hi Roman !
- By default, "e" is assigned to "ImagePaletteEdit".
Hence, I guess you have to suppress / change the ImagePaletteEdit shortcut in first, in order to free up the letter…
- I tested that, so laborious to get "e" for EXIF, since it stayed for ImagePaletteEdit, even with "Clear all" before. Finally, it works now (under Win 98 SE)
Kind regards,
Claude

Imagine Packer Plugin
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is how i implemented the Imagine packer extension into TC:
img=64,%commander_path%\wlx\imagine\imagine.wcx
Since the specified extension is not important I used img for image/imagine. The number 64 tells the plugin to check files by content.
If you prefer gif/png/whatever as extension and don't want TC to display respective files with an Archive Icon, add 256: 64+256=320.
And here's the v0.9.0.0.b2 German language update for your pleasure:

Did anyone got this working? I can only extract to .png.nyam wrote:And you can convert image type in pack dialog.
(The target format will be determined by target file extension.)

Tried also Imagine Plugin beeing the only plugin installed, installation through TC lister dialog,
different packerplugin configurations (i.e. different extensions and configvalues), no success.
If i enter <filename.ext> in the packer dialog, a new subdir is created with that name and the
extracted .png is placed in that new folder.

Btw., checked both v0.9.00b2 and with small update.
Regards, deus-ex.
It works fine for me.deus-ex wrote:Did anyone got this working? I can only extract to .png.
By your word 'extract', may I guess you only press CTRL+PGDN and extract?
nyam said: 'And you can convert image type in pack dialog. '
Did you try pressing ALT+F5?

Thanks for the reply Raymond, you got me. I was totally focused on the extract dialog.
It does'nt seem to take Imagine.ini settings into account, i.e. i have set .png compressionlevel to max (9)
in Imagines png optiondialog, but the packerplugin saves them with level ~7-8.
You can't pack/convert more than one file at a time, if i'm correct?

Where do you set compression level and check it? I must missed something.deus-ex wrote:It does'nt seem to take Imagine.ini settings into account, i.e. i have set .png compressionlevel to max (9)

Same here.deus-ex wrote: You can't pack/convert more than one file at a time, if i'm correct?
Regards, deus-ex.
At present the pack dialog configuration is unavailable. Maybe through certain configuration settings we can do batch convertion, or even merge multiple files into one in the future...just a thought, certainly it depends on nyam.
View a picture with Imagine Plugin just as usual. Now select Save as... in the rightclick menu and select .png as the filetype.Raymond wrote:Where do you set compression level and check it? I must missed something.
Notice the Options Button on the lower right? Here you can adjust the compressionlevel and wether to save as interlaced.
Every format has its own Options dialog taking its specific features into account. These settings are permanently saved into
'Imagine.ini' with every format having a separate section.
Regards, deus-ex.

Got it, thanks. Then,
I'm under win2kpro.

nyam,
Now everything is fine thanks to Clo - 1. unassign ImagePaletteEdit; 2. assign ImageEXIFInforemation; 3. restart TC.
Not sure if all steps are necessary, but this way it works.
Thanks

I did but it didn't work. Alt-E worked, though.Did you test with JPG has EXIF?
I assigned with 'e' and I had no problems.
