Problems copying/moving directories to the network drive

I've got problems when copying/moving multiple directories from local drive to a mapped network drive (on the Samba fileserver). The message "Cannot create directory..." comes up occasionaly and the copying/moving stops. When I start copying/moving again, it works normally, and than, after while it stops again. I've got no such problems when using Explorer. I use WinXP, SP1. Thanks.

Total Commander uses only the normal CreateDirectory function, but it uses the ANSI and not the Unicode version. Maybe Samba has problems with the ANSI version?
