Creating a file

Hello, i want to have a button that creates a blank file, like cm_MkDir, but a file instead, with a ? parameter that lets me pick the name, would that be possible?
Kinda like shift+F4 just that it doesnt send it to an editor.

Or if i could implement "echo on > "name of file.whatever" " to a button in TC that lets me get a "?" box to name the file, i couldnt get it to work, but im not real savvy.

You can use the program "Newfile"

Grab it on club total

under the tools section : tcAddon_Newfile_1.0.zip

It will do exactly what you want....
