Hi

about custom colums can i ask?
1) can I have file and folder (inluced sub folder) size ?
2) how can i switch from a custom colums sort to default?
3)and can i under view mode , let tc shows me for some folder file size and folder (with subfolder) size ?
i have searched in the help ,but there i have't found such information
thanks

Re: custom colums and view mode questions
You don't need custom columns for that. Just use the command cm_CountDirContent to have the size of folders and their subfolders shown - I strongly recommend running the 'Everything' file indexing program as a service - to speed up the process.1) can I have file and folder (inluced sub folder) size ?
You can use cm_CountDirContent in a button or a shorcut or in a View mode (in the "Auto-run commands" fields).
You can change the sorting just by clicking on the tab header of the sorting you want.2) how can i switch from a custom colums sort to default?
You can change Custom View Mode from the menu: "Show" -> "Custom View Modes", or with the command cm_SrcViewModeList in a button or a shortcut etc. The sorting can be set for each Custom View.
Make a rule or several for the folders in the "Auto Switch Mode" configuration.3)and can i under view mode , let tc shows me for some folder file size and folder (with subfolder) size ?

Re: custom colums and view mode questions
hi
is it a bad idea?
i guess the custom colums is made so i can switch from default name, extension ,size , date and attribute to another custom colums ,name and size
and i could switch between them ,Am I correct?
about Everything , it's a great freeware but can mess up the NTFS mft Journal
thanks
in the option ->custom colums i would like to create some presets , one of these preset i would like to add full folder included subfolder sizeYou don't need custom columns for that. can't be trigged by view mode or auto swtich mode, can it?You can change the sorting just by clicking on the tab header of the sorting you want.

Re: custom colums and view mode questions
Do you by full folder mean full folder NAME including path - yes thats is doable. If you want subfolder size you need a plugin like DirSizeCalc.i would like to add full folder included subfolder size
You will always have nema and extension in all custom columns, the rest are freely configurable.i guess the custom colums is made so i can switch from default name, extension
Yes it can.can't be trigged by view mode or auto swtich mode, can it?
Yo have to put it there yourself - like here: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/dirsizeview.pngi have done but there is no cm_CountDirContent
But I am not quite sure what you want - maybe you could give an exact example...
I have never heard of that - do you have any reference to that fact?about Everything , it's a great freeware but can mess up the NTFS mft Journal

I use Everyting since its very first version without any TC.
Also I read the void forum daily.
There was never ever such a problem.
