FTP size + subfolder files

Post by *LTN »

Is it through FTP somehow possible to see the size of the files placed on a webserver? As it is know I copy all the folders to the harddisk and then get the size, but isn't there a better way? The spacebar does not seem to work with FTP :-(

Also I can't get Ctrl+B ("extracting" all files in subfolders) to work. Normally I use this feature a lot, but it does not work with FTP.
Best regards

Unfortunately it does not. Just like Searching on FTP does not work. Christian (the author) says it's because of speed reasons. Users OTOH have suggested they might accept the speed issue anyway. It's up to Christian, though.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Fast answer! Thanks.

I would be greatful if Christian took some time to add this feature, and then I would fully accept the waiting time when asking on the FTP-server. This goes for both size, search and ctrl+b.
