To my knowledge, you do not have relative file name from the search result and feed to listbox. You do not have any global tab folder, %P is usualy empty and %N is full name...

In BranchView you have it as you keep as %P the current folder (Tab Folder and not current file) and %N the relative name to have %P%N being full name.

A search can be done for several different directories and/or drives - so there would be no guarantee for a Parent folder for relative paths, that's why relative paths are not supported.

Search results in listbox has AFAIK never had relative paths - I just testet TC version 6.55a from 2006 - it behaves the same ways as TC v. 9.51 in that respect.

Thank you for your answers, i always did following

connect my android phone via USB
goto \\\MediaAudio2\PhoneName\Phone
Find Files newer since last backup and not directory
search result -> Feed to listbox
Select All
F5 (Copy) -> dialog box asks for keep relative paths

could it depend on CopyTree plugin or MediaAudio2 Plugin

Not here - I am not asked for keeping relative paths if I press F5.

I use MediaAudio2 v. 1.4

If I want to use CopyTree plugin I have to press Alt+F5 and choose CopyTree as extension - is that what you are doing?

If I use the CopyTree plugin (v. 1.3.0.328) I get a dialog box where I can "Select tree level to copy" and "Only files of this type" - not "Keep relative paths" - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/CopyTree.png

If I use Branch View (Ctrl+B) and press F5 I get the option to "Keep relative paths (relative to current directory)" - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copybranchview.png - this option has nver been available for search results in listbox.

Aha, I can confirm that the option "Keep relative paths (relative to current directory)" was indeed present when copying from a search listbox in MediaAudio2 file system plugin folders.

It was last present in TC 9.22a - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfromlistboxmediaaudio922a.png

The option disappeared with the introduction of the [+F7] and +[F8] buttons in all copy/download dialogs in TC 9.50b1 - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfromlistboxmediaaudio950b1.png

Interestingly enough the option is NOT present in TC 9.22a when copying from listbox on local hard disk - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfromlistboxharddisk922a.png - like it was (and still is) when copying from Branch view - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfrombranchviewharddisk922a.png

When copying from a listbox on an FTP site (which is comparable to MediaAudio2 folders) the option is also not present in TC 9.22a - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfromlistboxftp922a.png

I can add that the option was also present in TC 9.22a when copying from listbox in a Virtual panel plugin folder - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copyfromlistboxvirtualpanel922a.png but it is not so in TC 9.51 anymore. So it seems that it was enabled for file system plugins in general up till TC 9.50b1

It would be nice if it was made an option in all search listboxes everywhere - I have now made a feature request for re-enabling the feature - positively everywhere applicable - https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=72961
