Issue with context menu

Post by *sbertolucci »

Hi, I have just noticed a possible issue as it can be seen from the screenshot included
Image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v8fgszg94ypnorq/Screenshot%20-%2024_11_2020%20%2C%2006_25_46.png?dl=0

On the left there is the right click menu from windows explorer, on the right the one from TC

As it can be noticed some items are missing.

Now, I don't care too much of the others, but I really miss the possibility of scanning a file with BitDefender from inside TC

Is there any solution available ?

Thanks

Stefano

Forum search: "BitDefender context"

This behaviour was with Bitdefender, I had a renamed copy of TC to get the context menu.

TC 32 bit on Windows 64 bit? Look under the X64 entry in TC...

I'm sorry Christian, bur I couldn't find any download link for the modified tc.
Could you just address me to the x64 version ?

Thanks

Best use "64-bit+32-bit combined download " , there are two exe (32 + 64 bit) and the rest of the files are mostly identically.
After installation (or unpacking) just use the exe you want.

Just to be clear: There is no modified TC version. Just copy totalcmd.exe or totalcmd64.exe to Explorer.exe (in the TC directory) and start that instead of the regular TC EXE file. Then it might work, but maybe not, since it depends on how silly (or dumb) the implementation of the shell extension has been made.
