I had a weird BSOD crash of my computer, likely to some transient issues with a USB drive. After the reboot, my Total Commander didn't display any tabs - only those with focus while crashing (1 tab on each side) were there. Is there any way to retrieve them, are there some automatic backups of wincmd.ini, or something?
It's weird because usually only the last changes were lost in such cases. But this time all tabs (some quite "historical") were lost. Even if I started a secondary instance of TC (usually having its own set of tabs, although similar to the first), it didn't have any tabs (just one on each side).

Re: Lost all tabs on BSOD
Hi.
I very recently had a similar issue, but, very weirdly, I only lost the tabs on the right pane, most of which, like yours, were "historical".
How did it manage to save the WinCmd.ini file minus that info on a BSOD?
As a hopeful solution to not losing them again, I am going to redirect the lefttabs & righttabs sections to another ini file... would that work?
Cheers
