First post here, long time happy Total Commander user.
Can you sort folders on the Date column?
Windows Explorer can do this. I can also do it on the command line with Dir /O-D
Is there a modification that can be made to the wincmd.ini file? I tried this: SortDirsByDate=1 but it did not work.
Thank you.

Re: Sort folders by date
Just click on the column header of the column (like the Date column) you want to sort for. (Pretty much the same as in Windows Explorer, where you would also determine sort order by clicking on the respective column headers...)
Re: Sort folders by date
I found the answer. That does nothing unless you go into Configuration, Options, Display and click the radio button for Sorting Directories "Like Files"
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thank you very much to Finley. Now I can sort folders by date/time without using the mouse. Now control+F5 sorts folders as well as files by date.
