Google drive plugin: Unable to remove google account from TC

I added my google account to TC for accessing google drive. I did this via the google drive plugin. Long touching the google account gives a bunch of options, amongst which was a Delete option which i assume should remove the added account. I get an error saying Could not delete 1 file(s)/folder(s). There is also a Properties option in that long-touch-menu from which i get no response on selecting.

Indeed in the newer plugin versions you cannot remove an account, because the plugin leaves the account management to Android. The dialog you get when adding an account is part of Android. If you want to deny the plugin access to your account, you can do this via your Google settings in the web:
1. Go to www.google.com
2. Login to your account
3. Click on "Security"
4. Click on "Third-party apps with account access"
5. Click on "Cloud Plugin for Total Commander" and disable it via "remove access"
