Restrict interface bugs
I discovered some bugs associated with restict interface feature
run Ultra TC Configuration Editor
Start Menu set RestrictInterface key to 1 and save, restart TC, start menu will disappear that's OK, now add new button to main toolbar with this command cm_ChangeStartMenu by this way you will access "Change start menu" dialog box and you can make any changes but when you hit OK an error "Access violation error at address XXXXX, Please report the error to the author"
if you choose to continue the program you will face up with unpredictable errors!
Button bar set RestrictInterface key to 4 and save, restart TC, Only buttonbar right click will be restricted but you can access "Change button bar" dialog box and make any changes via internal command cm_ButtonConig but without error!

It looks like it doesn't:
_________transmission_from_HISTORY.TXT__________
30.07.02 Fixed: User-defined hotkeys didn't work with RestrictInterface=1 (turning off the start menu)
______________end_of_transmission________________
Well, if hotkeys from disabled Start menu should work, menu itself should work too, doesn't it? 8\ But I can be wrong of course - all that Christian's restriction logic constructions are Chinese for me.[/face]

Thanks for consider that
maybe i have to do the same thing in Start & Directory Menu Editor to be compatible with TC,
and Enable/Disable the menu editing according to RestrictInterface value.

i searched the current history file and i didn't found the transmission you provide, So, it seems taken from an old history file
i test that any hotkey in restricted Start menu doesn't work at all.
The Fixed has been Fixed

There is no such a thing as "old history file", it can be complete or incomplete. The one from current distributive is incomplete.

Yep, they doesn't, but all user internal commands work, so after all it is still functional.

Well, may be I just misunderstood that string from history.txt - may be it was about another user-defined hotkeys 8\.[/face]

You're not logical. A history file released earlier than another is older (in the commen usage). The later published is newer.Black Dog wrote:There is no such a thing as "old history file", it can be complete or incomplete. The one from current distributive is incomplete.
If the history file from the current distribution is incomplete, where did one get the complete history file where you took your transmission from?
Or did you perhaps take it from an incomlpete older one?
Or did you make your own complete - but never officially released - one?

So, what functional you are talking about?
Sheepdog has explain my intention. Nothing more to add. There is no such a thing as "old history file", it can be complete or incomplete. The one from current distributive is incomplete.
Execuse me, i didn't understand, do you mean, if you have an internal command with hotkey (shortcut) in restricted Start Menu this hotkey will work while Start Menu is invisible. i test this and again it doesn't work at all.but all user internal commands work, so after all it is still functional.

Well, I already express my opinion about Sheepdog and his explanations, if you want me to give you an answer, ask yourself.

No, as I told you they don't.

Well, don't you know what are user internal commands? They work regardless of the fact that User menu is disabled.[/face]
