Hi,

is there a plugin to view EDI-Messages which colors special sections for having a better overwiew ?
Are any others interessted in this kind of plugin. If it doesn´t exist yet, maybe s.o. is interested and able to realise this ?

What kind of information do you need ? Do you know EDI-Messages ? EDI (electronic-data-interchange) is a standard to transmit for example sales reports or payment advices. I think its uninteresting for private use.

no one ?? Maybe there is a plugin, which just colors defined sections including jokers ??
For example there ist a section like

....;NADSU493939399939;....

I want to mark up the "NADSU" up to the next ";". The number is not fix after this ist noch fix !!! Is there a plugin which manages this ?

I don't know EDI-messages, and from your posts I haven't the foggiest idea what you want. You would help us a lot if you could give as an example message, and an RTF or HTML version of the message with the colored output you need.

You should try Synplus (a Lister plugin)...
Then you can create your own highlighting scheme....

thats a gread one, but it´s not able to markup strings containing jokers. I need a lister which is searching for strings and marks up not only the sting itself but ab hole section after that.

Wow whats that !!? I thought it was only a spelling mistake and you mean the synus plugin. But thats a difference. Seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Thanks very much !!!

Thanks for that. Its seems you can create very complex conditions. What I´m missing so far is a possibility not just to highlight a string but to insert a line break finding a " ' ". Some of that files im using have the size of 1 MB and doesn´t even have one line break at all.
I know of the option "word wrap" but the sections are not that clear as with a line break at the right position.

I have no Edi file to test that...

You can try "Edit Plus" or "Ultra Edit" two powerful text editor.
If you succeed to create a scheme with one of them, you can convert it for synplus...
