Need sound controls in Lister

Good day,

I searched the forum section, knowledge base and 3-rd party plugins - no luck.
I am learning a language and used Lister to play the mp3 tracks.
However I need to start, stop, restart the playback, optionally volume up/down, loop playing of a selected section of the sound file.
Had to switch to another application which is too heavy and complex. (Has all the shortcuts though.)

Is there such a simple plugin for Lister or TC?

Please consider implementing keyboard controls for Lister multimedia playback.
